My experience at Hostel Do Lucca in Porto Alegre was a mixed bag. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, offering helpful tips and a warm welcome. The location, just a short walk from Rodoviaria and Bus Central, was convenient for exploring the city. Free WiFi throughout the property was a nice touch for staying connected.However, the housekeeping left much to be desired, with broken beds and missing essentials like soap and towels in the bathrooms. The ongoing renovations created an unpleasant atmosphere, with paint supplies cluttering the balcony and hallway. This definitely impacted our stay negatively.On the bright side, the hostel offered a grocery shopping service and tours/ticket assistance, which added some convenience to our trip. The option of certain rooms with views of the city was appealing, although the dormitory room we stayed in lacked proper amenities.Hostel Do Lucca has potential, but improvements in cleanliness and maintenance are necessary to provide a more comfortable and enjoyable experience for guests.
